Attention to Detail :
Many steps go into creating their beloved Alphabet Quilt. First, each of the twenty six letters are individually embroidered at separate times. Once the stitching is complete, each letter is hand cut into a square and then stitched together in rows. The border of the quilt is also embroidered and then sewn to the stitched together alphabet. Once the front of the quilt is completed the back is sewn on and the quilt is stuffed. The final step is quilting and topstitching. The entire process can take up to twenty hours from start to finish.

Material :
Embroidered on 100% linen. Fine polyfil padding. Backed with 100% linen.
Linen is Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certified.
We use linen that is made from 100% unbleached and undyed natural flax fiber. There is an inherent beauty in the shade variation from one crop to another.

Care :
Linen is an incredibly durable fabric, and can be laundered in many ways. Over time, linen softens with multiple washes, enhancing the texture of the fabric. If you prefer a natural linen look, feel free to machine wash on a gentle cycle, and line dry your quilt. To keep your quilt crisp and smooth, consider spot clean treatments or dry cleaning.
